Return & Refund Policy – Abuela’s Cake Last Updated: November 2025

Because every carrot cake, vanilla pound cake, and muffin is baked fresh to order in our home kitchen in Sebring, Florida, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds once baking has started.

Here’s why (and we truly appreciate your understanding):

Food safety first – Once a cake leaves our hands, we can no longer guarantee it has been stored or handled properly. Florida cottage food law and common sense both prevent us from reselling or reusing perishable homemade items.

Made just for you – Each order is prepared in small, fresh daily rounds specifically for you. We don’t keep inventory sitting on shelves, so every cake is custom-baked the moment your order is confirmed.

Quality promise – If something isn’t right when you pick it up (wrong size, missing walnuts, damaged frosting, etc.), please tell us on the spot. We will happily remake it or adjust the order right then and there with a smile.

In short: We don’t do returns on food, but we stand 100 % behind the freshness and love that goes into every single cake. If you’re ever less than delighted at pickup, we’ll make it right immediately — no questions asked.
